Phyllis Louise Parrish, 87, of Barrington, IL, formerly of Aliquippa, passed on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 while residing at Alden Estates of Barrington. She was born November 15, 1926 in Rochester, PA, daughter of the late Earl Stewart and Marian Lucille Cummings. Phyllis was a former member of the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Aliquippa.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband: Robert J. Parrish.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Roberta P. and Frederick M. Martin, Hawthorn Woods, IL; a grandson and his wife: Mark and Meggins Chaconas, Chicago, IL; and her great granddaughter: Samantha Chaconas.
Friends will be received Saturday from 9am until time of service at 11am in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation with The Reverend Michael Sourwine, officiating.
