Born July 31, 1927, he was the son of the late Arthur W. and Grace (Stewart) Barrow. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. He was a member of Legion Post 19, New Brighton. He started his career at Lugar’s Meat and retired from Townsends Steel. He was well known in the community by his friends were he frequented the Giant Eagle and the Hot Dog Shoppe in Chippewa Twp.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Esther (Petuch) Barrow (2014); his brother, Arthur Barrow and his sister, Olive Campbell.
We will be remembered and missed by his daughter, Nancy (Nickolas) Bendekovic of Beaver; his grandchildren, Eric (Allison) Bendekovic and his family, Hannah, Ethan and Luke, Nicole (Greg) Gibson and her family, Jacob and Joshua, and Greg (Amanda) Bendekovic.
Family and friends are invited for his burial at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park (273 Route 68, Rochester) on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 2PM, where military honors will be presented.
