

He was affectionately known by family and friends as Bob. Many will remember him as the owner and operator of the Little Super on the corner of Lovi Road and 989 in New Sewickley Township and the Little Super located in South Heights. Bob always appreciated getting to know his regulars and welcoming new customers as well. He thought himself privileged to meet many people through the years. Bob was a well liked man and will long be remembered for his kind and friendly demeanor.
While his children were young, Bob was involved as both a sponsor and coach for the Economy Little League and the New Sewickley Township Girl Softball Teams. Family was most important to him. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Christina Young in 2005; his brother: David Fleming and sister: Jean McKinney.
Bob is survived by his wife of 26 years: Elaine (Kinman) Fleming; two sons; Robert (Mary) Fleming, Waynesburg, PA; Ronald (Lori) Fleming, of North Carolina; two daughters: Rachel (James) Roebuck-Harmon, Mentor, OH; and Leah (Troy) Hartman, Baden; five grandchildren: Tyler, Luke, Zachary, Tori and Morgan; (Bob was excited and anticipating the birth of Leah’s twins which would make him a proud grandfather of seven); his two nephews: Jeremy and Jordan Herzog; and his canine friend Lexie.
Friends will be received Monday, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). His service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday in the funeral home with additional visitation one hour prior to the service.
