Rose P. Coleman

Rose Penny Coleman, 81, of Freedom, PA went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 7, 2022. She was born on January 27, 1941 to the late Ransom Marshall, Sr. and Idell Lewis Marshall.

Rose Penny retired from Eaton Cutler Hammer Company which had formerly been Westinghouse, after 37 years of service.

She was a dedicated and faithful member of Lifeway Christian Fellowship of Beaver Falls where she served as an eldress under the pastorate of Reverend Kevin J. Lee. Rose also was a leader in the Pacesetters for many years. Their focus was to encourage Home Bible Study groups, to promote the power and love of Jesus Christ, to provide intercessory prayer and to lift Jesus to the status of Lord and master within the lives of those who sincerely surrendered “all” to Him. They believed in working in unity with all Christian fellowships or groups and to be Christian examples – sensitive to the leading of the Lord and to feel the spiritual needs of others. Rose Penny was a true prayer warrior with a sweet and tender spirit. She loved and spread the Word of God wherever she went.

Rose Penny was preceded in death by her loving parents, by two brothers, Ransom Marshall, Jr. and John Allen Marshall; three sisters – Elizabeth L. Davis, Sue Ann Conkle and Shirley Ann Marshall.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lovell Coleman, his two children – Kim and Tina; her two children – Anthony(Roxann) Pharr and Kelly(Eddie) Florence as well as 11 grandchilden and 14 great-grandchildren. Also to cherish her memory are her brother, Thomas(Patricia) Marshall, three sisters – Patricia Marshall, Earldean Marshall and Dorothy Ann(Obie) Powell as well as a host of nieces, nephews and truly special friends.

Her loving spirit and giving heart will be sincerely missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 10am until the time of funeral services at 11am at the SAUL - GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA, 15074.
