Roy A. Goss, age 90, of Freedom, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Kane Regional in McKeesport. Born September 21, 1935, in Freedom, he was the son of the late Arnold and Lola (Graham) Goss. Roy worked for the Local Carpenters Union, and was a proud Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years; Sheila (Nichols) Goss; one daughter, Terri Trauth, one stepson; Jeffrey Grubbs, one grandson, Nicholas Grubbs, one granddaughter, Jillian (Ethan) Mariner, and one great grandson, Shepherd Mariner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Angell and Patricia Sawatis.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 2:30pm at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
