Thomas Unsworth Sr.

Thomas Unsworth Sr., 67, passed away peacefully on Friday July 25, 2025, in his home in Baden Pennsylvania. He was surrounded by his closest family right up to the very moment of his passing. He was born June 6, 1958 to the late William and Olive (Reed) Unsworth.

Thomas worked at the Bulk Mail Center in Warrendale for over 20 years after serving in the Marine Corps for 6 years. He loved music and playing guitar and passed that on to his children and grandchildren.

He was a proud and loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers never missing a game if he could help it. You could always find him on a Sunday cheering his team with his beloved family and friends by his side. Some of his happiest moments were spent riding his Harley Davidson on a warm day. Those simple joys: family, friends, football, music and the open road meant the world to him.

Thomas was survived by his children Melissa, Tommy and Cheryl Unsworth. Grand-children Mileena Unsworth, Annabelle Unsworth and Mallory Pettner.

He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Elaine (Welsh) Unsworth, parents William and Olive, sister Virginia, brothers Jack, Robert and Gary, mother and father in-law, George and Cheryl Welsh and significant other Sue Casasanta.

Friends will be received on Friday August 1st 2025 from 2-4 at Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc. 273 Rt. 68, Rochester, PA 15074 where a service and Military Honors will be conducted on Friday, August 1st at 4:30 pm at the Funeral Home.

Thomas will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
