Veronika S. Hlopek of Monaca, formerly of Center township Pa, age 81, passed away peacefully on December 27th 2019. Born in Bettenfeld, W. Germany on January 21st 1938.

She is survived by children Patti (Jerry) Lantz, Denise (Dennis) McNeill, Frank (Jan) Hlopek, and David (Nancy) Hlopek. Loving grandmother of Jessica Anderson (Derek), Jennifer Hlopek (Jazek), Valerie (Ben) Murphy, Typhany (Nate) Sellers, Jeremy Lantz (Stephanie), Dylan(Amy) Hlopek, and Alex Hlopek, and 7 great-grandchildren. Kaylee, Elijah, and Blake Cottage, Auden and Leif Sellers, Julien Murphy and Colton Lantz. Brother Hugo and sister Maria.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fritz and Elisabeth and husband Frank. She loved to travel, go to her camp, and spend time with family and friends.

Friends will be received Monday December 30, 2019 from 6pm - 8pm in the Sau-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc., 273 Route 68, Rochester(Adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park) and Tuesday from 10am until time of service at 11am. Online condolences may be shared at

So many memories at camp always so many things going on loved the campfires and so many friends. Seen families growing with so much fun. Veronica was such a special friend to my mom and dad I m sure they will see each other again in heaven.
