Virginia M. Johnston

Virginia M.(Boring) Johnston, 88, of South Beaver, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was born on July 2, 1935 in Ambridge to the late Lowry and Freda (Allwes) Boring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Johnston in 2003.

Virginia had worked in the Deli Department as manager, at the Giant Eagle in Chippewa for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and most important of all, was taking care of her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Virginia is survived by three sons, Jack (Judy) Johnston of East Palestine, Ohio; Larry (Beth) Johnston of Croton, Ohio; Garry AKA Shorty (Linda) Johnston of South Beaver; daughter, Diana (John) Ott of South Beaver, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert and Herbert Boring of Conway; two sisters, Adele Huffman of Elkton, Ohio and Betsey (Jeff) Lytle of Albany, Ohio

In addition to her husband Jack, she was preceded in death by her son; Thomas Johnston, daughter, Patty Caselucci, a granddaughter; Jordyn Lynn Ott, her five brothers; Junior, Theodore, Virgil, Marcellos and Clayton Boring and two sisters; Freda Kresach and Vallie Evans.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 11:00 AM till the time of service at 1:00 PM at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home 273 Rt. 68 Rochester, PA 15074.

Virginia will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
