

Virginia C. Kuppinger, a former resident of Cranberry Township, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the age of 96 at the Harmony Haus in Ambridge. Born October 1, 1929, in Moon Township, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lishia (White) Gray. Virginia loved gardening, planting and growing flower, and she was a past member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Economy Borough, where she sang in the choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl F. Kuppinger in 2003, a son, Earl Kuppinger, four brothers; Clarence, David, Richard and Paul Gray, and three sisters; Edith Thomas, Hazel Stolar, and Dorothy Molchan.
She is survived by a daughter, Darlene (John) Stepovich, a daughter in law, Debra Kuppinger, two grandchildren, Amanda and Andrew (Crystal) Kuppinger, three great grandchildren; Amara, Brett and Alayna Kuppinger, and a sister, Lishia Janke.
Friends will be received on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 3-7pm and funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 10am at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Harmony Haus in Ambridge, and the staff from Three Oaks Hospice, especially Rose, Teresa, Erica, Brian, Maria and Nicki, for their tremendous care and support.
