William P. Campbell Sr.,81, of Economy Borough, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021, at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born January 12, 1940, in Sewickley, he was the son of the late David H. and Anna (Capp) Campbell. He was a retired Inspector for Armco Steel. William was an active member at St. Lutheran Church, was passionate about his Chihuahua puppies, having many over the years.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Judith (Dimond) Campbell. William and Judith met at the age of 15, at a roller skating rink, and have been with each other since then, including being together at Providence Care Center in Beaver Falls, until Williams passing. Also surviving are three sons and their wives; William P. Campbell Jr and wife Denise; Donald F. Campbell and wife Gail, Brian P. Campbell and wife Nicole, and one daughter; Julie Zorich and her husband Robert. Surviving are four grandchildren; Katie Creese (Clay), Chris Campbell, Mia Campbell, and Daniel Campbell; and Chad and Cory Mueller who he thought of as his grandchildren also; five great grandchildren; Priscilla and Scarlett Creese; Theona Zorich, Jaycee and Chloe Kalcevic. And also surviving is one brother Robert Campbell.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson Michael Zorich.
Friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum) www.saul-gabauer.com. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Steele officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Providence Care Center, on the third floor, for their tremendous care and support during the pandemic.
