Agnes R. Maggio-Miller, 94, of Rockton, IL, formerly of Rockford, passed away at home, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 1, 1924 in Rockford, the daughter of Clarence and Elsie (Sally) Corey. Agnes married Michael A. Maggio on May of 1941, he preceded her in death in 1962. She went on to marry Robert H. Miller, and he preceded her in death in 2004. Agnes worked as a manager at Fair Department Shoe Store for many years, as well as Logli’s. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. Agnes loved cheering on the Chicago Cubs, and watching Wheel of Fortune, and soap operas.
Agnes is loved and missed by her daughters, Sandra Maggio, Sally Timmerman, Linda (Joab) Irwin; grandchildren, Michael (Sandra) Timmerman, Tina (William) Bartok, Joab (Jaime) Irwin, and Angela Irwin; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Alivia, Hannah, Chase, Max, Joab, Josh, Jenzie and Isabel; siblings, William (Rosemary) Corey, Margaret Amdur, Clarence (Sharon) Corey, Sharon Miller, and Jean Borchards. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Michael and Robert; son-in-law, Robert Timmerman; siblings, Helen DiVerdi, Robert Corey, Sally Paris, Raymond Corey, and brother-in-laws, Charles Amdur, Kurt Miller, and Bud Borchards.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 10, 2018 at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 West State Street, Rockford, IL 61102.
