Alberto "Al" Casas, 47, of Rockford, IL, passed away suddenly, Monday morning, September 28, 2026. He was born June 29, 1979 in Lodi, California, the son of Alberto Casas-Montalvo and Maricela Marin. He graduated from West Leyden High School in North Lake, IL. Al was a self employed entrepreneur who enjoyed doing many things. He was the life of the party and always had a joke to tell. Al was passionate about photography and videography. His proudest achievement in life was his being a father. Al will be remembered as a kid at heart.
Al is survived by his loving companion, Emily Harrison; children, Joseph, Sebastian, Lilly, Jameson, Alberto, Jr. and Link; mother, Maricela Feral; father, Alberto (Norma) Casas-Motalvo; siblings, Corina, Lupe, Jaime, Rosa, Claudia and Mari; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as Emily's parents, Randy Harrison and Christine (Jimmy) Wolber. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunt Martha and nephew Michael.
Private family services will take place.
