Alfred “Bill” W. Yahrmarkt, 78, of South Beloit, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 17, 2016. Born May 23, 1938 in Rockford, IL son of Alfred and Grace (Strickland) Yahrmarkt. United in marriage to Diane Rudolph on June 15, 1974 in the Church by the Side of the Road in Rockton, IL. Worked as a carpenter with Local #792. His love of carpentry and woodworking was profound enough that he even built his own house that he shared with his love Diane. Favorite pastimes were camping and sailing. Bill was very easy going that enjoyed spending time at home grilling out on his deck.
Survivors include his loving wife, Diane; daughters, Cheri Yahrmarkt, Jan Sundstedt, Laurie Gianquinto, Christa (Armann) Rohde, Rebecca Hall, Jennifer (Philip) Vanlandingham; grandchildren, Aiden, Owen, Katie, David, Jane; brother, Dick Yahrmarkt; special dog, Maggie. Predeceased by his parents; siblings, Jack Yahrmarkt, Jane Page, Joan Yahrmarkt.
