Bryan was born on July 2, 1964 in Chicago, the son of Phillip and Patricia (Davis) Jackson. Bryan was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Bryan worked for the United States Post Office in Rockford (Harrison Ave.) and was a long standing postal union representative for APWU with his last position as Vice President. Bryan loved the Raiders (NFL), Blackhawks (NHL) and fishing.
Bryan is survived by his children: Zachary Jackson, Kaylee Jackson (Jeremy Galvan) and Nicolas Jackson; granddaughter Madilynn Galvan; mother Patricia Jackson; father Phillip Jackson; brother Kevin (Terrie) Jackson; sister Heather Jackson; Loretta (Graves) Jackson, mother of Bryan’s children; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in Bryan’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation for Bryan will be Sunday August 7, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Advantage Funeral Home 7000 W. State St. in Rockford. Funeral to celebrate Bryan’s life will be 11:00 am Monday August 8, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be in Willwood Burial Park.
