Carl Meiborg

Carl Edward Meiborg, 59, of Rockford, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, November 11, 2018. Born June 1, 1959 in Rockford. Son of William and Isabelle (Dunstan) Meiborg. Married Deborah Elliott on May 15, 1993 in Sinnissippi Gardens. Employed as an over the road trucker driving an 18 wheeler for Meiborg Brothers Inc. until retirement in 2005. Carl found great enjoyment in bowling, fishing, going to the Casino, doing yardwork pulling the weeds, cooking especially fried chicken and baking cookies. Carl enjoyed watching American Pickers, the WWE and the Food Network. He was a social butterfly always on his phone keeping up with his friends. Carl enjoyed driving all across the United States and Mexico even taking Deb back in 92.

Survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Deb; children, Mandi (Brandon) Hewitt, Edmund “Ryan” (Cathy) Meiborg, Tyler Meiborg; grandchildren, Kaytee Hewitt, Thomas Hewitt, Hailey Hewitt, Haley Meiborg, Kamren Meiborg, Nevin Meiborg, Kyleigh Meiborg, Walker Meiborg, Daylen Meiborg, Brody Meiborg, Daxton Meiborg, Gage Kelly, Delilah Meiborg; siblings, Bill (Debbie) Meiborg, John (Jennifer) Meiborg, Sue Bokker; former sister-in-law, Barbara Wissler; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; brother, Robert; brother-in-law, Ken Bokker; faithful dog, Gem.

Memorial Services to be scheduled at a later date. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Burial at a later date in Willwood Burial Park.
