Carol J Kevern , age 84, of Winnebago, Illinois passed on Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born April 24, 1941 to Lavern and Lorraine (Stephens) Kevern in Freeport, Illinois. Carol loved to complete puzzles, she has completed over a thousand in her lifetime.
Carol is survived by her brother, Roger (Charlotte) Kevern; nieces and nephews, Rick Smith, Jeff (Candy) Vicencio, Mark Vicencio, Robin Vicencio, Kimberly (Andy) Overcash, and Tony Hillman; several grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavern and Lorraine Kevern; and sister, Janet Vicencio.
