Clarence E. Banks Jr., 73, of Roscoe, passed away on July 2, 2011 in Swedish American Hospital. Born March 10, 1938 in Plainfield, WI the son of Clarence and Nina (Reese) Banks. Married Dorothy Meyers on April 13, 1963 in Rockford. Retired from Rockford Products after 36 years of employment. Clarence was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church. He loved camping, fishing, biking, woodworking and making balloon animals. Survived by his wife, Dorothy Banks; children, Ronald (Nancy) Banks and Randee Jo “Libby” Banks; step-granddaughter, Shannon; sisters, Dolly Blossfield and Jolene Savage. Predeceased by his parents; daughter, Donna Banks and 8 siblings. Funeral services at 11 am on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Roscoe United Methodist Church, 10816 Main St. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
