David D. Calhoun, 78, of Rockford, passed away after a long illness on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Born in Milwaukee, WI. Son of Brown and Harriett Calhoun. He obtained his Master’s degree in Fine Arts. Together with Donald Young they shared 26 years together. Together they enjoyed watching Cub games and sharing the great meals he cooked. He had a quirky sense of humor that made them laugh together.
Survived by his life partner, Donald Young; brother, Paul (Elena) Calhoun; sister Ann Calhoun; special nephew, Ben Calhoun; special niece, Lauren Calhoun; special cousin, Jackie Calhoun; many cousins and friends.
