David Nicely, age 76, of Byron, Illinois passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023. David was born on May 15, 1947 in Rockford, Illinois to Leo and Wilma Nicely. In 1965 David graduated from Rockford East High School. For 6 years David served in the Army Reserve here in the Rockford Area.
David is survived by his siblings, Dale (Jean Anderson) Nicely and Debbie (Bill) Erlandson; nieces and nephews, Shane, Sherrie, Aaron, Stephen, Dena, and Christine; many great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2pm at Advantage Funeral Home (7000 W. State Street, Rockford, IL 61102). Inurnment to follow at Willwood Burial Park.
