Donald D. Williams, 93, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Heritage Senior Living in Muskego, WI. Donald was born on June 21, 1929, in Rockford, IL the son of Robert and Ethel (Cram) Williams. He graduated from West High School in Rockford in 1947 and Michigan State University in 1956. He proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Don met the love of his life, Jean Harmacinski, and they were married on May 24, 1969. They spent their lives together in Rockford until moving to Muskego, WI in 2018. They were married 50 years until Jean’s passing in 2019.
Don worked as an accountant for Pollard & Wheeler in Rockford. He then spent 33 years serving Barber-Coleman Company before retiring in 1992. Don then worked many more years for Universal Technical Systems in Rockford. Don loved numbers and accounting and “kept his books” as long as he could.
Don loved to be involved in the community as well. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockford. He served on the board of directors for the P.A. Peterson Home, Peterson Meadows Building Committee, Orton Keys Day Care Center and Circle of Learning Day Care Center. He was also involved in Junior Achievement.
Don loved reading and placed great value in education. He loved animals and his kitty, Jessica, was by his side in his death.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Stuart (Phyllis) Williams and Robert (Gloria) Williams and wife Jean. He is survived by his daughter Deborah (Michael) Pietsch and grandchildren Jacob, Kaitlyn and Logan Pietsch.

Cremation rights have been accorded. A memorial service will be held in Rockford, IL at a later date.
