Donna Mae Haines, 82, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2020. Born November 29, 1937 in Belvidere, IL. Daughter of Donald F. and Ruth A. (Paulson) Haines. Employed by the former Chiclet factory for several years until her retirement. Member of Liberty in the Spirit Church. Donna found great enjoyment in watching old movies and reading her Bible. Donna was a very independent person that enjoyed doing her own thing. She was a jokester that loved to make people laugh. She was very involved in her church and loved her church family. Anytime spent with her church family or her family is where she loved to be.
Survived by her sisters, Karen (Gary) Nelson and Vicki (Jeff) Christenson; nieces and nephews, Gina (Joe) Perkins, Keith (Lisa) Nelson, Kenneth (Deanna) Nelson; several great nieces and nephews; 4 great-great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents.
