Donna Darlene Jackson passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Donna was born to Loretta Bowman and Jerry Jackson Sr. on December 12, 1965 in Rockford, Illinois. Donna attended and graduated from Jefferson High School in Rockford, Illinois. Donna was an employee of Goodwill Industries. Donna enjoyed spending time with animals, who always loved her unconditionally. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Transitions Hospice for the love and care they gave to Donna.
Donna is survived by her mother, Loretta King; sisters, June (Daniel) King, Jody Barnett, Cecelia Jackson; brother, Jerry (Millie) Jackson II; step-sons, Timothy and Christopher Mailand. Donna was preceded in death by father, Jerry Jackson Sr.; step-father, Eugene King; grandparents; sister, Myra Jackson; and special friend, Lori Haugen.
A memorial gathering is to take place at a later date.
