Florence Irene Webber

Florence Irene Webber, 94, of Rockford, passed away November 14, 2015. Born in Philbrook, MN to parents Herbert and Byrdena (Lillie) Swart, January 17, 1921. Came to Rockford at 18 months of age. Married Everett Webber November 13, 1937. He passed away January 19, 1979. During WWII employed by Kaiser Shipyards in Vancouver, Washington. Was a welder building ships and air craft carriers. Employed in Rockford by Medical Supply Co. for 18 years. Then employed by Winnebago County Health Department for 19 years. Member of Messiah Lutheran Church for 75 years. Most recent member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. She was a wonderful mother and a loving, involved grandmother and great-grandmother. Survived by son Danny (Carol) Webber and daughter Joan (Tom) Stockburger, grandchildren; Gail (Robin) Passwater, Diane (Mark) Mason, Nicole (Shannon) Barstow, Todd (Kathy) Stockburger, great grandchildren; Lauren and Andrew Passwater, Ethan Mason and Logan Stockburger, brother; Allen Swart and his family. Funeral Services at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Visitation from 10 till 11 a.m. prior to the service.
