Forrest Reed Hagie, age 80, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024. He was born to Mabel and Forrest Hagie on October 31, 1943 in Illinois. He married the love of his life, Kay on February 8, 1969.
Forrest loved airplanes, he earned his private pilot’s license and took to the sky. He enjoyed driving fast cars, whenever he got a new vehicle he had to test out its top speed. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Forrest is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kay Hagie; son, Jeff Kubly; grandchildren, Autumn (Owen) Morse, Tamra Kubly, and Jacob Kubly; great-grandchildren, Oakley Morse and Westin Morse; sister, Dorothy Smuck; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Mabel Hagie; sister, Peggy (Al) Santee; daughter-in-law, Kim Kubly; and brother-in-law, Ron Smuck.
