She was born on June 8, 1937 in Tellico Plains, Tennessee to Cleborn and Nellie (Frady) Eddington. She married Billy Wayne Tate in 1955 until his death in 2006.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Jean Tate and her son, Billy (Bre) Eddington. She is also survived by numerous grand children and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and several siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services. A visitation will precede the service from 10 am to 11 am. Reverend Ron Meyers will be officiating. Interment will follow at Willwood Burial Park.
