Gary R. Daubert

Gary Daubert was born on March 4, 1943 and left this world peacefully behind at 10:51pm on January 4, 2016 at the age of 72. He left behind an immediate family consisting of the love of his life Marge Daubert, Children Chris McClure, Cathie Giffen and Russ Daubert and will also be missed by Son-In-Laws Kevin McClure and Jeff Giffen, Daughter-In-Law Cheryl Daubert and his two Grandchildren Marissa and Madison Daubert. He also left siblings LeNora Clinite, Dave Daubert and Dana Daubert behind.

He was born in Rockford, IL and spent most of life in the area except for a short period in San Francisco, CA in his late teens. His love for the trucking industry was his preferred career to provide for his family and he spent many hours telling stories and making plans and schemes for his next big break with anyone that would indulge in conversation.

For those that truly knew Gary there is no doubt that he would give anything to anybody and would help in way he possibly could. He never really complained about his situation and played the cards he was physically dealt. He had a love for John Wayne, anything western, and he would stop, anything at any time, and go with anybody for breakfast, which was his favorite meal of the day.

From this point forward, Gary will be deeply missed by family and friends, but the hope is that he’s enjoying himself in heaven…... so ride along you ‘Trucking Cowboy,’ until we meet again…….
