LOVES PARK,IL Glenn Franklin Bennett, 59, died suddenly Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Loyola Hospital. Born November 5, 1955 in Rockford, Il to Thomas and Minnie (Simmons) Bennett. In October 14, 1976 he married Laura Anson and together shared 38 years. Glenn enjoyed motocross racing, watching TV, putzing in the garage, smoking cigars and sharing an ice-cream treat with his granddaughter Ellie. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his family.
Survivors: wife, Laura; children, Ryan, Scott and Sydney Bennett,and Whitney (Ryan) Ross; granddaughter, Ellie Bennett; brothers, Tom, Tony and Dale; sisters, Betty Rayburn, Nancy Barker and Donna Bennett; daughter-in-law, Bridget Bennett; very best friend, Chadd Stokes. Predeceased by father.
Funeral Service; 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Advantage Funeral Home 7000 W. State St. Rockford, Il. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
