ROCKFORD – Harriet Wescott, 85, passed away May 16, 2012. Born May 28, 1926, to Oscar and Nellie (Egelhof) Nipple. On Sept. 7, 1947, she married Jerry Wescott.
Full-time homemaker, she loved antiques, gardening, and flea markets.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Jerry Wescott, her sons, Richard (Nancy) Knight, Dennis (Sarah Perkins), Donald (Dr. Janet Robinson), and David Wescott; her daughters, Linda (Randy Spencer) Gilbert and Barbara Kinroth; and her brother, James (Rheta) Nipple.
Visitation from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral, 7000 West State Street, Rockford, IL. Interment will follow at Willwood Burial Park, 7000 West State Street, Rockford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to local food bank.
