Irma Jean Gustafson Dunaway Burt, 79, Loves Park, passed away February 23, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with Illness. Born July 17, 1934 in Rockford, daughter of Raymond and Erma (Lanning) Gustafson.
She graduated from Rockford East High and Rock Valley College Nursing Program. Irma was a lifelong member of Calvary Lutheran Church and loved knitting, crocheting and reading.
Married in April 1982, she is survived by her husband Leonard Burt; daughter, Deborah (Cyril) St. Pierre; sons, Craig (Cindy) Dunaway and David (Lisa) Dunaway; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Thomas) Tucker and several nieces and nephews.
Irma is preceded in death by her 1st husband of 27 years, Bruce Dunaway, and daughter Carla Ree.

Funeral service will be 11am, Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7000 West State Street, Rockford. Pastor Chuck Olson will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will be at Willwood Burial Park.
