Jeffery H. "Jeff" Rice, 57, of Rockford, IL, passed away, Monday, July 13, 2026 after a long fight with heart disease. He was born October 15, 1969 in Beloit, WI, the son of William and Dorothy (Gilbert) Rice. Jeff graduated from Brodhead High School in Brodhead, WI. He was employed as an electrician in the Rockford area. Jeff enjoyed fishing. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Dorothy Rice; father, William (Tammy) Rice; brother William Anderson; niece, Kacey Anderson; nephews, James Lundstrom, Sean Anderson and Ethan Anderson. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Kelly Lundstrom and Cindy Rice.
