Jeffrey E. Rehm

Jeffrey (Jeff) Eugene Rehm, 58 was born in Rockford, IL. on October 16, 1958 to Jerome and Janice Rehm. In his early years Jeff attended Concordia Grade School and Hoffman Middle School in Machesney Park, IL. In 1976 he graduated from Harlem High School in Machesney Park, IL. During his high school years, Jeff was active in the band, where he played the trumpet. Jeff received local recognition for his trumpet skills and he often played for area churches for special events. Jeff was raised in a Christian family, baptized at Concordia Lutheran Church, and confirmed in the United Methodist Church. In 1979 he married Pam and they were blessed with a son Darrell in 1984. Jeff attended Rock Valley College and received a CNC machinist certificate. Following in his father Jerome’s footsteps, Jeff spent his working career as a CNC machinist. Jeff had many hobbies and interests; he enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends; vacationing in Wisconsin as a child and adult; his continued love of music; attending outdoor concerts; all types of auto racing. He owned two muscle cars and had two Harley Davidson motorcycles. Jeff was an avid cheerleader for the Chicago Cubs and Bears.

In 2014 he became a grandfather, little Jeffrey Rehm, the apple of his eye.

Jeff’s untimely passing was the result of an acute illness. He died peacefully in the hospital.

Survivors: son, Darrell; grandson, Jeff; sister, Jana (Dave) Anderson. Predeceased by parents.
