Jeremy Alan LaRue

Jeremy Alan LaRue, 37, of Rockford, passed away on June 30. Born on July 3, 1975 in Rockford, he was the son of Mary (Noto) Austin and James C. LaRue. He married Sonia Vyborny on July 19, 1996 in Loves Park.

A family oriented man, Jeremy was an employee of FEDEX, who loved music and aspired to be an airplane pilot. He spent his spare time playing his guitar, collecting model cars and air planes; playing computer and video games; and helping others in every way.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sonia LaRue; daughters, Ashley and Kayla LaRue; mother, Mary (Bob) Austin; brothers, Jason, Shaun (Angie), and Michael LaRue; grandfather, Robert Deskins; mother in law, Janet (Jake) Vyborny; and father in law, Lyle Vyborny.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Diann Deskins; grandfather, Tony Noto; and great grandparents, Frank and Anna Verdina.

Funeral service, 2 p.m., Saturday, July 6, at Spring Creek United Church of Christ, 4500 Spring Creek Road, Rockford. Visitation, 11 a.m. to time of service at 2 p.m. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to an account in the name of Sonia LaRue at Chase Bank.
