Jerome "Jerry" W. Pippel passed on July 7, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on July 20, 1953, in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Hank and Christine (Goomas) Pippel. He graduated from Guilford High School. Jerry was employed by Cassens Transport in Belvidere for many years. He had a love for dogs and had numerous over the years. His nieces and nephew will remember him playing Santa Claus when they were younger.
Jerry is survived by his brother, Harper Pippel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard and Robert and nieces Shelli and Jamie.
