Judy Marie Jeffers-Sager, 81, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away on October 27, 2026, at Javon Bea Hospital. Judy was born on November 8, 1944, in Green County, Tennessee, to Mary Nellie Northern and John Franklin Moore. She grew up with two sisters, Margie Day and Imogene Mecoy. She worked at Atwoods Mobile Products. She loved to work in her yard, have her coffee in the morning and watch the birds. She had three step-children Bill Jeffers, Jerry Jeffers, and Cheryl Raxter. She was also a member of North Berean Baptist Church for many years. She played bingo and loved spending time with her family, who she loved more than anything.
Judy is survived by her step-daughter, Cheryl Raxter; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews; niece-in-law, Kathy Davis.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Rex Jeffers; second husband, Richard Sager; step-sons, Jerry Jeffers, and Bill Jeffers; parents, sisters, and nephew, Danny “My Boy” Davis.
