Katherine Earlywine Minnick Sexton, 83, Rockford, passed away on June 2, 2013 at her home. She was born on May, 24, 1930 in Rockford to Sylvester and Mary (Schmidt) Earlywine. She was married to William Sexton until his passing.
She enjoyed, playing Bingo, traveling, visiting friends and being a Mom and Grandma.
Katherine is survived by her children, Susie (Roger) Gillespie, Bonnie (Mike) Morales, Boomer (Sue) Minnick, Frank (Pam) Sexton, Kathy (Robert) Hamor and Tina Smith; grandchildren, Lisa I, Karen, Jim, Mark, Melissa, Lisa, Michael, Brandie, Jason, Christina, and Jack; great grandchildren; Jacob, Jordan, Spencer, Harper, Alexis, MacKenzie, Ashley, Christopher, Claudia, Cydney, Eia, Lilly, Daniel and Cody. She is also survived by 5 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her special friend, F.D.
She is preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, brothers, sister, and youngest son, Ronnie.
Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Service, 7000 W. State Street. Cremation rites will be accorded. Interment will be at a later date at Willwood Burial Park.
