Kenneth D. Gendron, 75, of Davis Junction, passed away on January 21, 2021. Ken was born on May 27, 1945 in Oak Park, Illinois to Ernie and Ida Gendron. He graduated from Proviso East High School and soon after joined the United States Army in 1966, serving in Vietnam. When Ken returned home from serving his country, he met the love of his life Tina Montes and they married on June 27, 1973. Ken enjoyed horseback riding but he truly loved grilling for and spending time with his family whenever he got the chance.
Ken is survived by his wife Tina Gendron; children, Marie (Chuck) Schumaker and Mike (Carol) Zajdel; grandchildren, Daniel (Tiffany) Monson, Alicia (Tim) Crosby, Cody (Amber) Monson, Dominic Zajdel, Meagan Schumaker, and Mikey (Ariana) Zajdel; many great grandchildren; siblings, Ralph (Sharon) Gendron and Darlene Wolf. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Ida Gendron. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
