He was born on Aug. 8, 1957 in Belvedere to Melvin and Dorothy Dittbenner. He married Elizabeth on July 1, 1978 and was employed by Cassens as a car-hauler for 24 years.
He is survived by his wife; son, Kevin Jr; daughter Jessica (Samuel) Sherman; mother, Dorothy; brother, Melvin Jr, and a host of family and friends.
He is predeceased by his father and brother, Gerald.
A visitation will be held 10am-12pm, Tuesday October 16, 2012 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, 7000 W. State St. Rockford.
