Khristine M. Beilfuss, 77 of Rockford, passed on October 26, 2026. She was born June 8, 1949 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Burton Allen and Ellen Katherine (Clark) Beilfuss. Khris graduated from Carthage College with a teaching degree. She married Roger Bain. Khris was a member of First Assembly of God, where she opened a preschool called "Kiddie College." She and Roger then opened and taught many children at "Living and Learning Preschool." Khris had a vast collection Precious Moments and Department 56 Villages. In her younger years, she played trumpet in a trio with her brothers, Burton and James. She also enjoyed playing hymn tunes at church as a young lady. Khris had a love for dogs, especially her two cocker spaniels. She will be remembered for being a wonderful teacher and a lifelong learner.
Khris is survived by her siblings, Burton A. (Phyllis) Beilfuss, Jr., James (Donna) Beilfuss, Alvin Beilfuss, Shelby Beilfuss and Lori (Chuck) Hauser; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles.
