Linda Pearson, 59, of Rockford, passed away on October 22, 2010 with her daughter by her side after a long illness. Born April 1, 1951, the daughter of Wayne and Lavon (Singer) Toepfer. Graduated from East High School in 1969. She married Steve Pearson in 1973. Employed at OSF St. Anthony and a parishioner of St. Bernadette’s Church. Linda was a devout catholic, who dedicated every moment to her entire family. She loved spending time with her 3 grandchildren and her special friend Giovanni. She had the heart of an angel and touched many lives. Words cannot express our loss. Survived by her daughter, Kellie (Pearson) Brien, son-in-law, Jason Brien; grandchildren, Brittany, Brooklynn and Drew; father, Wayne Toepfer; brothers, Brad (Judy), Rick (Pam), Tim (Gail); sisters, Carol Bradley and Mary (Terry) Boatwright; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother, Lavon in 2008. Funeral Mass at 10 am on Thursday, October 28, 2010 in St. Bridget’s Church, 600 Clifford Rd. in Loves Park with a hour visitation prior to Mass. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation also from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7000 W.
