Lisa Jean Dawson, 58, died Sunday, February 7, 2016. Born January 19, 1958 in Beloit WI. to Lloyd and Lois (Crockett) Terry. As a registered nurse, Lisa made a career out of caring for people. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed the family times spent together during the holidays and family picnics. Lisa loved the color pink and she loved to shop.
Survivors: children, Melodie Gillespie and Alex Dawson; grandchildren, Robert McBain ll, David and Evan Gillespie, and Laura Dawson; siblings, Steve (Mary) Terry, Bill (Marla) Kreamer,Tom (Londa) Terry, Sam (Robin) Terry, John (Tracy) Terry, Cindy (Dudley) Nelson, Teresa (Paul) Rivera; host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; son; granddaughter and grandson.
Memorial service: 10:00 a.m Thursday, February 18 at North Park Covenant Church 545 Superior Ave. Loves Park, Il. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Private burial in Chapel of Love Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Advantage Funeral Home was honored to have assisted the family.
