Loretta Ann King, 85, of Rockford, Illinois passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023 in her home. She was born July 25, 1937 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Gullo) Bowman. She married Eugene King in November 1971, he predeceased her in 2014. Loretta enjoyed watching tv, especially crime shows including CSI and Law & Order. She will be loved and missed by her family.
Survivors include children, June (Daniel Croteau) King, Jody Barnett, Jerry (Millie) Jackson, Cecelia Jackson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Percy (Jane) Gordon, Cindy Johannson. Predeceased by parents; husband, Eugene; brother, Joseph Bowman; daughters, Myra Jackson and Donna Jackson.
Private memorial will be held at a later date. Inurnment in Willwood Burial Park Cemetery, Rockford, Illinois.
