

Lovina B. Bourgerie, 77, of Loves Park, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Born November 12, 1943 in Chicago. Daughter of Edward and Lovina (Belcher) Warren but raised by her Aunt and Uncle, Rosemary and Arthur Millar until he passed and then Uncle Vernon Anderson. Lovina’s career spanned from working at Rand McNally working on Globes, to driving school bus for Marlin bus service in the Evanston and Skokie area, to be a cashier at Jewel, to being a police dispatcher for the Naval base in the Great Lakes and for the city of Bartlett, to working for Winnebago County as a clerk processor, to Harlem School District as a bus aide, to working at Wal-Mart as a cashier, greeter and or sample lady and finally she taught a puzzle class for senior citizens for a couple sessions at Rock Valley College.
Lovina found in enjoyment in jigsaw puzzles, reading and going for road trips to have dinner. She was a lover of all animals especially of dogs.
Survived by her son, Michael (Jane) Bourgerie; grandpups, Zeke, ZuZu, Boyd, Ava, Raylan and Brandy. Predeceased by her parents; Aunt, Rosemary ( Vernon) Anderson.
Per her wishes no funeral services and burial will take place in Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plains, Illinois. Cremation Rites have been accorded. To share a condolence www.advantagefunerals.com
