Mary Bolen, 95, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Born July 3, 1921 in Rockford, IL. Daughter of William and Nellie Hunt. Married Charles W. Bolen Jr. on July 5, 1941. She was always a homemaker but found time to be the manager of the Rockford Memorial Coffee shop for many years. She enjoyed restoring antique furniture after her retirement.
Survivors include daughters, Sharron Hackenburg and Linda (Gerald) Finley; grandchildren, Robin Hackenburg, Lori Cline, Jeffrey (Cathy) Finley, Ann Goble, Jennifer (Matt) Stacy; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth Hunt, Herbert Hunt, Mildred Stultz; nieces and nephews; special nephew, Richard Middleton. Predeceased by her parents; spouse; son-in-law, Billie; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Emily Stacy.
