at Amberwood Care Center, Rockford, Il. Born September 27, 1931
in Centralia, Il. to Frank and Minnie (Williams) Parker. She married
Raymond Harley in 1951 and together shared 43 years while raising
their seven children. He preceded her in death in October 1994.
In 1966, Mary joined the Jehovah’s Witnesses, she was a very devote
Christian who had made many special friends and enjoyed spending time
together with them. She especially loved educating people about God’s plan
for an earthly hope. Alzheimers may have taken her mind and diabetes her
body, but nothing could take the love of her family and friends from her heart.
She will be remembered by her big beautiful smile, her love of life,
the happiness and joy she infected in all of us. She will be deeply
missed. We find comfort knowing that she is finally resting peacefully.
Special thanks to Shirley, Misty, Dalton, Unique, and Yasmine, for their
loving care to our mom at Amberwood Care Center.
