ROCKFORD, IL Mary Alice Martin, 83, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Born August 17 1931 in Ponemah, Il.to Creed and Olive Roark. Mary was a dedicated member of her church. She worked as an interior decorator and also assisted the elderly with health care. She enjoyed cooking large dinners for her family and friends.
Survivors: children: Mark Gossett Sr., Marcia (Dean) Lyon, Miles (Valerie) Gossett; grandchildren, Mark Gossett Jr., Hayley Gossett; sisters, Erva Logan of Manito, Nancy Hoy of Fairhope, AL.; brother, Donnie (Gerry) Roark of Galesburg. Predeceased by parents; several sisters and brothers.
