

Mary A. Wight, 72, of Loves Park, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in her home of a long illness. She was born January 25, 1939 in Beloit, Wisconsin to George and Rose (Schmidt) Fago. She loved bowling where she was the secretary of several bowling leagues, camping with family and friends, Cubs baseball and Green Bay Packers football. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose. She retired from Tri-Supply Company, and Wight’s Heating & Air Conditioning. Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Ronald R. Wight Sr. of Loves Park; children, Gail (Bob) Biermann of Rockford, Gary (Tina) Ackerman of Loves Park, Gloria Alonzo of Rockford, Mary (Doug) Holcomb of Machesney Park, Ronald (Heather) Wight Jr. of Oregon and Corinne Wight of Loves Park; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel (Christine) Fago and Richard (Kathy) Fago both of South Beloit; sisters, Margaret (Dudley) Alexander of Necedah, Wis. And Joyce Lindaas and sister-in-law, Janice Fago both of Rockton and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Dale and George; sister, Gloria. Memorial services at 10 am on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7000 W. State St. Family will start to receive guests at 9:30 am. Cremation rites have been accorded.
