Michael Hoffman

Michael Hoffman, 65, of Rockford passed away Wednesday October 26, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Michael was born on August 23, 1957 in Rockford, the son of Robert and Irene (Weseman) Hoffman. Michael loved to go fishing; was a big sports fan and loved watching the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He loved spending time with his family.

Michael is survived by his brother: James (Sheila) Hoffman; sister: Melody Sutherland; step-sister: Vickie Hoffman; step-brother: Brian Hoffman; wife: Doraina Hoffman; children: Ryan Lawnduski, Corine Lawnduski and Annie Lawnduski; numerous grandchildren; niece: Melissa Mercer; great-nephew: Manuel Alvarez; other nieces and nephews survive. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, nephews: James Mercer, Jim Higgins and Jer Higgins.

Memorial service to celebrate Michael’s life will be 2:00 PM Sunday October 30, 2022 at Victory Homes 56 Senate Drive in Rockford, IL. Advantage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded.
