He retired from Abar-Ipson after more than 35 years of employment.
Murray enjoyed motorcycles, snowmobiles, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Ray (Dawn) Pfeil and Gloria (Daniel) Bouton; grandchildren, Taylor, Connor, and Maxton Pfeil, Shawn (Gina) Ross, Robert (Casey), Matthew, and Heather Bouton; four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Orland Pfeil; sister, Leora Buchanan.
