Nancy C. Olson, 81, of Rockford, IL, was born on April 9, 1938 and passed away on July 18, 2019. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Olson; sisters, Peggy Allen and Donna Vogel; brothers, Kenneth Lippitt and Richard Lippitt, and her parents, Kenneth and Louise Lippitt. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Darcy Olson, and son-in-law, Mark Johnson, Favored nephew, Rick Lippitt, grandson, Daniel (Julie) Johnson, great-grandchildren, Odin and Bryn Johnson. Nancy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nancy was known for her caring spirit. She was the matriarch of her extended family. Nancy and Don made several trips to visit family in Norway and hosted Norwegian family members in their home. Nancy had worked at Graceffa’s market, Rockford Screw Products, Highlander Foods, and Charles St. Laundry.
Per Nancy’s request, there are no services. She will be buried next to her husband at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
