Orlando O. Michaca

Orlando era un hombre devoto y fiel a Dios, y cualquiera que lo conociera podía ver la profundidad con la que vivía su fe. Fue un esposo amoroso con su esposa Erika Castañeda, con quien estuvo casado durante 24 años, y su matrimonio fue verdaderamente especial.

Sirvió como pastor en Jesús la Roca en Harvard, Illinois, donde se preocupó profundamente por la familia de su iglesia y se dedicó a ayudar a los demás. Su pasión por el ministerio y las personas a las que servía se evidenciaba en todo lo que hacía. Fuera de la iglesia, Orlando disfrutaba correr y el ejercicio. Era algo que le llenaba de alegría y lo mantenía con los pies en la tierra. Será recordado por su bondad, su fe firme y el amor que sentía por su familia y su comunidad. Lo extrañaremos mucho.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio el sábado 6 de diciembre de 2025 de 12 p. m. a 5 p. m. en First Born Ministries (8213 N Alpine Rd, Loves Park, IL 61115).

Orlando O. Michaca, 47, went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2025. He was born on April 1, 1978, in Mexico to Mario Michaca and Adelina Ramirez.

Orlando was a devout, faithful man of God, and anyone who knew him could see how deeply he lived out his faith. He was a loving husband to his wife of 24 years, Erika Castañeda, and their marriage was truly something special.

He served as a pastor at Jesus the Rock in Harvard, Illinois, where he cared deeply for his church family and dedicated himself to helping others. His heart for ministry and the people he served was evident in everything he did. Outside of church, Orlando enjoyed running and fitness. It was something that brought him joy and kept him grounded. He will be remembered for his kindness, his steady faith, and the way he loved his family and community. He will be greatly missed.

A Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 12pm to 5pm at First Born Ministries (8213 N Alpine Rd, Loves Park, IL 61115).
